Welcome to our Family Resource Program Parenting Course!
We hope that you will find these sessions to be enlightening and helpful as you take the necessary steps to improve your growth as a parent. We are excited to provide you with information that will enhance your knowledge as well as benefit the children as they continue to develop. Remember, that life is a JOURNEY and we as the Family Resource Program want to be a part of providing solutions, support, and education to help conquer some of those challenges that you might face. Information About the Program:
- You can register for up to FIVE courses for $35. During registration, add the first option with the fee to your cart first. Then, you will be able to add up to five courses from the list.
- You will have 12 weeks to complete each of the courses, and will receive an email notification when your course access has ended.
- As you complete each course, you will be able to download a completion certificate.
If you misplace your certificate after your course access has ended, contact Peyton
Collins at the CEC for a replacement.
Information About the Courses:
This course helps parents to address behaviors through understanding and intervening before they are able to see real change from the child. In this course, parents will learn different strategies to use while discovering new ways to address and recognize the different stages of those behaviors. There are great tips and resources provided to help parents identify certain triggers that contribute toward the behavior and also be able to learn the importance of positive reinforcement that can display positive behaviors from the child. Behaviors can be challenging for most parents and we hope that this presentation meets your expectations.
The Autism 101 course was created to help parents learn and understand the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) among individuals. The goals of this presentation are to identity characteristics of ASD and to learn basic strategies that address those traits in many different settings. Challenges with ASD vary drastically and there is no individual on the spectrum that functions the same. Find out about autism from symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, and more. Are you ready to learn? It is so important for parents to know about the different resources available for their sons and daughters. Many times, parents get frustrated and become hopeless due to a lack of services offered in the area or no knowledge of those services at all. The purpose of this presentation is to provide you with resources that will benefit your family needs. Hello Everybody and welcome to our stress management course. This presentation is designed to help you identify areas that you know can be triggers while learning other strategies and techniques that can potentially reduce those levels of stress in your life. Stress is an area that every adult human being has faced or will face in the future and that is why it is essential to try new methods for a healthy state of being. Parenting can be a challenge, so please make sure you are taking care of yourself as you continue to take of others.
