Join us this summer for an exciting, four-day Criminal Justice Camp experience at Western Kentucky University, designed specifically for students passionate about exploring careers in criminal justice, law enforcement, and forensic sciences.

At the WKU Criminal Justice Camp, you will:
Day 1: Welcome to Your Future in Criminal Justice!
- Get acclimated to WKU and uncover exciting career possibilities within criminal justice.
- Dive into engaging, hands-on learning experiences guided by WKU faculty who bring extensive real-world expertise to help you understand the criminal justice system.
Day 2: CSI WKU - Forensics in Action!
- Join thrilling demonstrations by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's Forensics Unit.
- Witness firsthand how forensic professionals analyze evidence and crack criminal cases through immersive activities.
Day 3: Behind-the-Badge Adventure at Bowling Green Police Department
- Go behind-the-scenes at the Bowling Green Police Department, exploring specialized gear and facilities.
- Experience an exciting meet-and-greet with the K9 Unit and their talented dogs in action.
- Explore SWAT team equipment and talk directly with officers about their daily responsibilities and specialized roles.
Day 4: Meet the Pros – Careers & Connections Day
- Engage directly with professionals from diverse criminal justice and related fields, including victim advocates, legal professionals, and more.
- Participate in interactive sessions, demonstrations, and lively Q&A panels to discover diverse and rewarding career paths.
Throughout the Camp:
- Make lasting friendships and build valuable connections with peers who share your passion.
