Minor in Economics
The Minor in Economics requires only 21 hours of coursework. For students who completed College of Business Admissions Core which
includes ECON 202, ECON 203, and ECON 206, Economics minor requires only 12 additional hours.
To earn a minor in Economics, students must complete the following courses:

ECON 203 | Macroeconomics Principles (may count as Colonnade Explorations Course) |
ECON 206 | Statistics |
ECON 302 | Intermediate Microeconomics |
ECON 303 | Intermediate Macroeconomics |
Two ECON |
300- and 400-level ECON course not already required for the major. |
Economics minor also requires MATH 123 or any calculus class. This requirement is waived for students who have a Math ACT of at least 26 or a Math SAT of at least 610. MATH 123 may be used to satisfy Quantitative Reasoning requirement of the Colonnade program.
