Electrical Engineering Major Requirements
Students are admitted with a pre-major in Electrical Engineering. In order to transition from pre-major to major and graduate with a degree in Electrical Engineering, students must complete the following courses earning a grade of "C" or better in each course:
- EE 210 - Circuits and Networks
- ENG 100 - Intro to College Writing
- Human Communication (F-OC)
- Math 136 - Calculus I
- Math 137 - Calculus II
- PHYS 255 - University Physics I
- PHYS 265 - University Physics II
Students who have transitioned from pre-major to major must complete the following courses to meet junior standing requirements:
- EE 211 - Circuits and Networks (C or better)
- EE 200 - EE Design II
- EE 180 - Digital Circuits
Students must complete the following courses to meet senior standing requirements:
- EE 300 - Electrical Engineering Design III
- EE 380 - Microprocessors
- EE 420 - Signals (C or better)
- EE 345 - Electronics (Either completed or enrolled in)
