Students must register in advanced in order to attend Grocery Bingo. Capacity will be limited to 10 students per session. There will be two 45-minute Grocery Bingo sessions with a 15-minute break in between sessions for sanitation.
Tables and chairs will be spaced out in order to maintain social distance between students and staff. Students will be asked to use hand sanitizer (which will be provided) upon entering and must wear a mask properly at all times. When students get bingo, there will be blue masking tape on the ground with 6 ft. of space in between and they will stand in line to have their bingo sheets checked off one at a time.
Once they have their bingo sheet checked off, one student at a time will pick out their grocery prize from a table. A student worker will hand them their prize wearing gloves in order to ensure that students are not grabbing/touching multiple items.
All participants will be entered into a grand prize drawing and will receive an email from student wellness to pick up their prize in the student wellness suite at the end of the week. Winners of the Kahoot will have the opportunity to win an HEP cup or Campus Rec and Wellness water bottle which they will receive at the end of the session.
A sign will be placed in front of the multipurpose room door that says that the event is full and when our next GB will be held in order to ensure students who did not register don’t enter the room during the event.
