The Hilltoppers open Conference USA action against Middle Tennessee. The Thursday night game is a Red Out and will be televised on CBS Sports Network.
Tailgating activities begin at 2:30 p.m. with a performance by Steel Hill at 3:30 p.m. on South Lawn and Topper Walk on Avenue of Champions at 4:10 p.m. Members of WKU’s Class of 2027 will participate in the pregame Big Red Rush. The winner of the WKU-MTSU 100 Miles of Hope Blood Drive will be announced during the game. Event Parking/Traffic Information
Reminder for the campus community from Provost Robert “Bud” Fischer: Beginning at 2:30 p.m., we are asking offices to operate with minimal staff and encourage employees choosing to leave campus to do so quickly. This will help with parking and traffic as we transition to event operations in support of the game. Those choosing to leave will not be charged vacation time.
Classes will continue as scheduled. If you feel that your class location may be affected by the festivities, we would be happy to move the class up the Hill for the day. Please contact Jessica Steenbergen at jessica.steenbergen@wku.edu.
