About 700 students from 20 schools will visit WKU for the Region Two Future Business Leaders of America Spring Conference on Friday (March 7). Conference begins at 9 a.m. with closing ceremony at 2:30 p.m. at Downing Student Union Auditorium.

The WKU Forensics Team will host the Kentucky High School Speech League Senior Speech State Tournament from 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday (March 7) and from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday (March 8).

Over 600 students/judges will be on campus for this event utilizing the following buildings: Downing Student Union, Cherry Hall, College High Hall, Environmental Sciences and Technology Building Ivan Wilson Fine Arts Center, Grise Hall, Honors College & International Center, and Kelly Thompson Hall.

“O for a muse of fire, that would ascend the brightest heaven of invention.” Shakespeare’s greatest history comes to life in the confines of an English classroom. Desks become castles, chairs become cavalry, and a group of students discovers the power of the Bard as he was meant to be experienced—alive and aloud. Recommended for all ages.
