Grant-in-Aid of Research: Fees for research support and facilities use are very modest, and are necessary to help defray maintenance costs. If you need to request a Grant-in-Aid to help cover some of the expected fees, please estimate those and provide a justification.

CONDITIONS

I agree to abide by all applicable worker protection standards; chemical and biological safety standards; herbicide and pesticide handling requirements; animal care standards and requirements, including, where applicable, project approval from the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee; and, where human subjects are involved, project approval from the Institutional Review Board. If given permission to collect organisms, I will also obtain an appropriate Kentucky Scientific Wildlife Collecting Permit, Hunting License, or Fishing License for the proposed study period. Furthermore, I have read and agree to comply with the WKU GRP Data Policy. I agree to submit a brief Investigator Annual Report at the end of the project or the end of the calendar year, whichever comes first, and give permission for it to be included in whole or in part in a public Green River Preserve Research Report. I will acknowledge the Western Kentucky University Green River Preserve in any and all presentations, publications, and other communications resulting from work at the WKU GRP or including it as a study location.
