Biography
Hi! My name is Alexandria Anderson and I am a junior in the MHC from Indian Mound, TN (a small town near Clarksville, TN). I am a Biology and Health Sciences with a concentration in Pre-Med major with a minor in Anthropology. I love being able to serve as an HonorsTopper and help incoming scholars on their individual journeys into college. Other than HonorsToppers, I serve as Editor-in-Chief of the College Heights Herald (the campus newspaper!) and as a College of Health and Human Services ambassador. I am also on the CE/T track in the MHC and will be doing research during this year.

My advice for incoming freshmen is to put yourself outside of your major! Don't be afraid to get involved with organizations on campus that aren't necessarily what you want as a career, it's so valuable to getting a well-rounded experience. Also, attend the campus and MHC social events! Through the Honors events during my first semester, I was able to truly experience the community of the MHC. I'm glad that I get to show scholars more of this community and the benefits of being in the MHC.

HSPB Introduction

Hi there! As you can see above, my name is Alexandria. I have gotten involved on campus in a few ways so far: I'm an HonorsTopper, an H4 counselor, a CHHS ambassador, a news reporter for the College Heights Herald, and a member of the Honors Social Planning Board! I love getting involved, and I've learned a lot about all the organizations on campus, so if you have any questions, be sure to reach out! Outside of school, I love playing guitar and bass, writing, photography, and anything outdoorsy!

I joined HSPB because I wanted to get even more involved with the community aspect of the MHC. When I got to college, it was the HSPB events that helped me branch out and get to really know other students and staff in the honors college. I hope to help plan and work events in the upcoming years that continue to do just that!
