Biography
Hey Toppers!

My name is Eddie Woolery. I am from Richmond, Kentucky and currently study History, Legal Studies, and Chinese with the Chinese Flagship program. I chose to come to WKU for many reasons. For one, the Chinese Flagship program is a rare opportunity to learn language, culture, and get several unique career opportunities. The Mahurin Honors College is also a hidden gem in the state of Kentucky. I have been able to explore my interests and be challenged academically in a way I never thought possible. Outside of studying and HonorsToppers, I am the treasurer of the WKU History Club, a member of Phi Alpha Theta history honors society, and am a member of the leadership team at my local church's college ministry. I also love the outdoors, enjoy playing guitar, and can be found exercising in the Preston Center or jogging around campus.

For any incoming or prospective students: embrace the discomfort and challenge of college. Applying for colleges was stressful. Going to college was even more stressful. But I have made it so far and have made some pretty cool friends and memories along the way. Every challenge I have faced in college so far has come to pass and they have prepared me for whatever the future holds. So don't worry too much and take it easy!

As always, GO TOPS
