Reporting Fiscal Misconduct

The University encourages it employees, students and the general public to promptly report suspected or known fiscal misconduct by WKU personnel.

Report Anonymously        Report Confidentially

Anonymous Reporting

Report fraud, waste, abuse, or other acts of fiscal misconduct anonymously via the ethics & compliance hotline.  Information provided anonymously is recorded by a third party service provider and forwarded to the Office of Internal Audit.  No identifying information is provided to the Office of Internal Audit unless you choose to identify yourself during the reporting process.  Anonymous reports may be made online at http://www.wku.ethicspoint.com or via phone at 1-877-318-9178.

Confidential Reporting

Confidential reporting of fiscal misconduct is done by contacting the Office of Internal Audit. The office will setup a meeting with you to discuss the allegations.  To remain confidential, the meeting may take place at a location on or off-campus.

Other Reporting

The Ethics & Compliance Hotline was designed to allow anonymous reporting of fiscal misconduct, including ethical, accounting or financial issues; however, many other types of misconduct can lead to significant problems. The list below includes violations that may be reported to other campus entities.
