Internal Audit

Katelyn Durham joined Western Kentucky as the Senior Internal Auditor in June 2023. She is responsible for planning and performing audits of the university, educating university employees about internal controls, and partnering with the Director to build an effective internal audit function supporting the mission of the university. Katelyn graduated from the Western Kentucky University with a B.S. in Finance with a concentration in Financial Management and a B.A. in Economics. She earned her Master’s Degree from WKU in Applied Economics. Before returning to Western, Katelyn worked for 10 years as an internal auditor in community banking and the grocery industries.
