Following a meeting with Icelandic President Olafur Grimsson about the emerging partnership with WKU and Iceland about climate change, President Grimsson was presented with an original painting by WKU junior art major Katie Adams. The painting depicts an Icelandic horse with a reflection in the water of a Kentucky thoroughbred. It illustrates the new collaboration between our nations and WKU's new partnership with the University of Akureyri
