Following a meeting with Icelandic President Olafur Grimsson about the emerging partnership
with WKU and Iceland about climate change, President Grimsson was presented with an
original painting by WKU junior art major Katie Adams. The painting depicts an Icelandic
horse with a reflection in the water of a Kentucky thoroughbred. It illustrates the
new collaboration between our nations and WKU's new partnership with the University
of Akureyri
