Departments may require a particular kind of computer due to unique software used in that program.

Consider your budget and computer needs. For example, do not pay for a high-end graphics card if you will not do graphic-intensive work.

Shop Around
WKU Store, Apple, and Dell offer student discounts. We recommend purchasing an extended warranty.
