Circle of Support FAQs
The KAP Circle of Support provides five major areas of assistance: 1. Residence Hall living, 2. Study tables, 3. Mentoring, 4. Socials, and 5. Counseling.
The Student Accessibility Resource Center (SARC) provides classroom adaptations such as extended time in a quiet environment, note takers, books on tape, scanned e-text, and other modifications. Please contact them at 270.745.5004 for more details.
The cost of the Circle of Support program is $5,000 per semester, which is paid to the Kelly Autism Program. This does not include tuition or housing fees, which are paid to Western Kentucky University. The Kelly Autism Program is a vendor with Vocational Rehabilitation Programs for several states.
Students will sign up for various meal plans through WKU's dining services, which are offered at a number of campus locations. Students will select the meal plan that best meets his/her needs.
Students may live on campus while attending WKU in a variety of settings. KAP has students in several residence halls and university apartments. Residence hall life provides opportunities for independent living, time management, social engagement and total university experience. You will become part of the WKU family!
