The state currently does not require applicants pursuing licensure to have graduated with a Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP)-accredited master’s degree; but may require a graduate degree in a related field. In this state, there are specific requirements as follows: 97-02-01-03 "Supervision must include individual face to face meetings that occur at regular intervals; a total of one hundred hours over the two-year-period of supervision through individual and group methods must be documented. At least sixty hours must be individual face-to-face supervision;" "Face to face includes electronic video communications that are secure and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act compliant on a secure server."
