The state currently does not require applicants pursuing licensure to have graduated with a Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP)-accredited master’s degree. In this state, in order to qualify for LPC licensure you must have at least a master’s degree in counseling or a mental health degree that is substantially content-equivalent.
