The state currently does not require applicants pursuing licensure to have graduated with a Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP)-accredited master’s degree; but may require a graduate degree in a related field. In this state, there are specific requirements including: 11.3.1. Part 2. "Completed requisite CACREP expectations for internship and practicum; OR Twelve (12) semester credit hours of supervised practicum and a minimum of one (1) calendar year of supervised internship consisting of twenty (20) hours per week deemed equivalent by the Board.”
