This state requires applicants pursuing Speech-Language Pathologist licensure must hold a master’s degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program. Applicants must also complete a supervised clinical practicum. WKU’s Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology is accredited by the Council of Academic Accreditation (CAA) in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and requires the completion of a supervised clinical practicum.
Additional requirements for state licensure may include background checks, official transcripts, fees, additional coursework, training, experience, and jurisprudence and board examination results.
