This state requires applicants pursuing licensure must have graduated from a dental hygiene program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) of the American Dental Association (ADA) and completed curriculum in specific areas that includes didactic and clinical competency. WKU’s Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene is accredited by CODA. However, the specific cirriculum areas required by this state are provided in a didactic setting, but are only taught for lab evaluation and not clinical competency.
