This state requires applicants pursuing RN licensure to have graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. WKU's Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) Program is nationally accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). Therefore, graduates of WKU's ASN Program meet the educational requirements for RN licensure in this state.
Additional requirements for state licensure may include background checks, official transcripts, fees, additional coursework, training, experience, and jurisprudence and board examination results.
