WKU’s Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education is accredited by the Kentucky’s Education Professional Standards Board and the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). This program is designed to prepare students for licensure in Kentucky. Thus, we have not determined that this program will meet the educational requirements for teacher certification outside the state of Kentucky. Nevada offers reciprocity for current, valid, non-provisional, and non-conditional licensees coming from other states.

Additional requirements for state certification may include background checks, official transcripts, fees, additional coursework, training, experience, and jurisprudence and board examination results.
