WKU and GFCB are well represented at upcoming major conferences

Dr. Johnny Chan, Leon Page Professor of Finance, was informed last week that four of his coauthored papers had been selected for presentations at major conferences.  Two articles entitled “A retrospective analysis of auditing research (1975-2008)” and “Ranking of accounting programs and journals: A Google Scholar citation perspective” will be presented at the upcoming American Accounting Association  conference in Washington D.C. in August and two other papers entitled “Using books by prolific investors for teaching an investments course” and “Do star analysts know more firm-specific information? Evidence from China” will be presented at the upcoming Financial Management Association International conference in Atlanta in October.
