Hedge Fund Manager Visits Portfolio Management Class

Dr. John Liu, a hedge fund manager from Nashville, TN, visited Dr. Johnny Chan’s Portfolio Management class on April 26.
Dr. Liu had many years of Wall Street experience and is the former Director of Endowment for Vanderbilt University. Currently, he runs his own hedge fund.
He discussed his career in finance with the students and advised them on how to begin a career in the investments industry. Students were actively involved in the discussion and learned various aspects about careers during the questions and answer session.
