Johnny Chan will present research papers in major conferences

Dr. Johnny Chan, Leon Page Chair and University Distinguished Professor of Finance, was recently informed that four of his coauthored papers had been accepted for presentation in upcoming major accounting and finance conferences.

These articles are: “A quality-based global assessment of financial research” in Financial Management Association International conference in Nashville in October; “Mutual fund affiliated analysts and stock price synchronicity: Evidence from China”, “The impact of corporate culture on performance: A quasi-quantitative approach”, and “Board hierarchy, independent directors, and firm value” in American Accounting Association (concurrent session) in Atlanta in August.
