Gatton Student and GFCB Professor Present at Conference

Christian Simms, a high school senior at Gatton Academy of Science and Technology presented his paper entitled “Factors contributing to the compensation of university presidents” at the 52th annual meetings of the Academy of Economics and Finance in Jacksonville on February 5 and 6.
Simms' research is mentored by Dr. Johnny Chan, Leon Page Chair of Finance and WKU University Distinguished Professor. Simms was the only high school student among all presenters in the session devoted to undergraduate research paper presentations.
