Ethical Leadership Speaker Coming to Gordon Ford College of Business

Alfonzo Alexander, Chief Relationship Officer of the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) and the President of NASBA’s Center for the Public Trust (CPT), will present “Ethical Leadership: The True Sustainable Leadership” on Friday, February 17, in Grise Hall Auditorium on WKU’s campus.
Mr. Alexander is responsible for providing strategic leadership to NASBA’s Communication, Marketing, and Human Resource departments. He oversees leadership development for managers and supervisors, and handles special projects within the CPT, including the “Being a Difference Award” program and the Student Center for the Public Trust.
“We are excited to welcome Mr. Alexander to Grise Hall to discuss the important topic of ethical leadership,” said Dr. Jeff Katz, Dean of the Gordon Ford College of Business, who is sponsoring Alexander’s talk. “Helping students be aware of and discuss ethical issues in business and society is one of our top learning goals. I trust that his visit will inspire the next generation of leaders.”
Mr. Alexander is a member of the International Board of Governors for Beta Gamma Sigma, the premier honor society for AACSB-accredited collegiate schools of business and was the keynote speaker at the society’s Global Leadership Summit in Dallas.
He has a passion for working in the community, serving on the board of numerous organizations. He is the Past Chairman of the Board of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes of Middle Tennessee, the Treasurer of the 100 Black Men of Middle Tennessee, the Past President of Youth Encouragement Services Board of Directors, a member of the International Advisory Forum for Beta Alpha Psi, the Healthcare Compliance Board Certification Board and a member of the Metropolitan Nashville Sports Authority Board of Directors.
