Winners from the 47th Annual WKU Student Research Conference have been announced.
The conference took place on March 25 at the Downing Student Union. About 400 WKU graduate and undergraduate students from 43 schools, departments, programs and institutes in all colleges at WKU across the main and regional campuses participated.
The conference was organized into 59 sessions of talks, presentations, posters and performances. Volunteer panels of faculty, staff, retired faculty and staff, community leaders and alumni judged each session.
The WKU Fund sponsored each of the 59 sessions. The WKU Fund is privately supported and is part of the WKU Foundation. The WKU Fund supports innovative initiatives that help students persist, achieve and graduate. Each session winner received a $50 gift card to the WKU Store.
“The WKU Fund helps support academic excellence in students,” said Marc Archambault, President of the WKU Foundation. “This was a perfect partnership as it recognized the research of some of WKU’s brightest minds.”
