Into the Shadow of the Disappearing Sun, the first of two shows about eclipses, will be presented May 2-July 2 at WKU’s Hardin Planetarium.
On Aug. 21, for the first time in 38 years, a total solar eclipse will be visible from the continental United States. This total solar eclipse will be visible to those located within a roughly 100-mile-wide band stretching from Oregon to South Carolina. The path of totality cuts across the southwestern portion of Kentucky, including the WKU campus in Bowling Green. More: WKU 2017 Eclipse page.
