Summer may have just begun for WKU students but for Imagewest interns the work is just beginning.
Imagewest is a student-run advertising and public relations agency. This week interns are part of a rigorous workshop program where they are taking on the Muhlenberg Humane Society, pro bono, to further develop their skills and initially come together on their first project as a team.
Students are working alongside Imagewest agency manager Kara Williams Glenn to revamp the Muhlenberg Humane Society's social media, branding, website and paperwork as well as kennel cards and other signs used in the facility.
After the Muhlenberg Humane Society recently became under new management and increased the amount of services to pets and locals they are looking forward to working with the interns to improve the aesthetics of their overall brand.
“The students are so professional and listened to everything the board and I were seeking to improve about our facility and brand," said Jamicha Phelps, director of the Muhlenberg Humane Society. "I’m so excited to see the work they will come up with.”
Student and Imagewest Account Executive Dominique Warfield said: “We as a staff at Imagewest are thrilled to be creating new content for a society that has so much passion for the people and animals they serve.”
Imagewest is an award-winning advertising and public relations agency that applies a unique blend of raw talent and seasoned professionalism that works with one goal in mind: to move clients forward in their creative and professional development.
