WKU will honor top scholars from area high schools for their academic achievements.

Here is the 2017 schedule of recognition events:

• Sept. 7: Northern Kentucky Area High School Honors Luncheon, 11:30 a.m. ET at Receptions, 1379 Donaldson Highway, Erlanger.
• Sept. 12: Louisville Area High School Honors Luncheon, 11:30 a.m. ET at Frazier History Museum, 829 W. Main St., Louisville.
• Sept. 13: Lexington Area High School Honors Luncheon, 11:30 a.m. ET at Signature Club at Lansdowne, 3256 Lansdowne Drive, Lexington.
• Sept. 15: Five-County High School Honors Luncheon (Allen, Butler, Edmonson, Logan and Simpson counties), 11:30 a.m. CT at Augenstein Alumni Center, 292 Alumni Ave., Bowling Green.
• Sept. 20: Glasgow Area High School Honors Luncheon, sponsored by South Central Bank, 11:30 a.m. CT at TJ Samson Community Center, 310 North L. Rogers Wells Blvd., Glasgow.
• Sept. 22: Bowling Green/Warren County High School Honors Luncheon, sponsored by Fort Knox Federal Credit Union, 11:30 a.m. CT at Augenstein Alumni Center, 292 Alumni Ave., Bowling Green.
• Sept. 26: Elizabethtown Area High School Honors Luncheon, sponsored by Fort Knox Federal Credit Union, 11:30 a.m. ET at Early College & Career Center, 200 University Drive, Elizabethtown.
• Sept. 28: Owensboro Area High School Honors Luncheon, sponsored by US Bank, 11:30 a.m. CT at Owensboro Convention Center, 501 W. Second St., Owensboro.
