Staff Members Plan to Attend 2009 Allscripts Conference

In December 2006, Health Services implemented electronic medical records and moved away from charting records by hand. WKU Health Services has a commitment to providing quality healthcare for the students, faculty/staff, and alumni of WKU. With the on-going changes in healthcare it is important that we stay at the forefront of medical technology.
The ACE Conference will be taking place July 28 - August 1, 2009 in Orlando, Florida. During the conference participants will have the opportunity to ask the Allscripts experts any questions they may have about their software. Clients will have the opportunity to select on-on-one 30 minute sessions with their Support and Implementation representatives, attain information on workflow and application inquires, and networking and technical issues. As the end user, it is imperative that all Health Services staff members understand the products used in our facility ,therefore, allowing Health Services to be efficient and provide efficient care to patients.
