- WKU Winter Weather Advisory for Feb. 7: WKU campuses in Elizabethtown, Fort Knox and EC3 will operate on a two-hour delay today (Feb. 7) because of ice.
- Black History Month Salute: Robert Unseld: This month, we're highlighting the work of African American faculty, staff, students, and alumni who make a difference each day at WKU. Today, we focus on Robert Unseld, director of WKU CCPD & SARC.
- Lone Star Rodeo Feb. 9-11 at WKU's Ag Expo Center: The Lone Star Rodeo Company will make its 2018 visit to WKU’s L.D. Brown Agricultural Exposition Center this weekend for four shows at 8 p.m. Feb 9; 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Feb. 10; and 2 p.m. Feb. 11.
- 2018 Winter Weather Communications Plan: Check out a reminder about WKU’s winter weather communications plan that provides a number of ways you can find out if classes are delayed, canceled or if a campus is closed.
- WKU Public Radio Weekday Newscast Schedule: Tune into WKU Public Radio for national and international news from NPR, and local newscasts every half hour during Morning Edition (4-9 a.m. Central), and All Things Considered (3-6 p.m. Central), as well as local news features and interviews produced by the WKU news staff. - Football: White, Iyiegbuniwe headed to 2018 NFL Scouting Combine: For the third consecutive season, WKU will be represented by a pair of former Hilltoppers at the NFL Scouting Combine as quarterback Mike White and linebacker Joel Iyiegbuniwe earned invitations to this year's event, the National Football League announced on Tuesday. - Former WKU Regent school superintendent Lois Gray dies at 81: Lois Gray, a revered educator who led Hardin County Schools for more than a decade, died Tuesday in Florida. Gray, 81, also served as a principal in Fort Knox Community Schools and was a longtime member of the WKU Board of Regents, serving as its chairwoman from 2002 to 2004.
- Guide raising funds for family memorial at Mammoth Cave: Jerry Bransford, a seasonal tour guide at Mammoth Cave National Park, is raising money to fund the creation and placement of a memorial at Mammoth Cave National Park in effort to commemorate his family's historical connection with Mammoth Cave. Helping him with the fundraising process is Imagewest, a student run advertising and public relations agency at WKU.
- WKU Civil War forum stirs discussion, debate on monuments: When protests in Charlottesville, Va., erupted in violence last August, WKU history professor Glenn LaFantasie felt he was experiencing something new.
- 'KABOOM': Jevin Redman balances life behind the mic and in stripes: The first 3-pointer made by a WKU women’s basketball player also nets the same call by its play-by-play radio broadcaster.

- Topper Travelers Program 2018: The WKU Alumni Association is planning a Baltic Cruise across Northern Europe June 21-July 2. The 10-night cruise across the Baltic Sea aboard Marina will begin in Copenhagen, Denmark, with stops in Berlin, Germany; Helsinki, Finland; St. Petersburg, Russia; Tallinn, Estonia; and Stockholm, Sweden.
