The Gatton Academy Advances to 2018 Science Bowl for the 4th Consecutive Year: A team from The Gatton Academy has advanced to the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) National Science Bowl® for the fourth consecutive year. The national tournament, scheduled for April 26-30, challenges students’ knowledge in all areas of science, including biology, chemistry, Earth science, physics, energy, and math.
WKU Public Broadcasting develops training program for ASD students: WKU Public Broadcasting is establishing an innovative training program to serve the growing number of individuals with autism spectrum disorder. In partnership with the Suzanne Vitale Clinical Education Complex, WKU Public Broadcasting is creating a student employment fellowship program to support the training and advancement of WKU students with ASD.

Men’s basketball: Hilltoppers Add Graduate Transfer Desean Murray to Program: WKU men's basketball head coach Rick Stansbury announced Wednesday the addition of graduate transfer Desean Murray (6-4, Forward) to the Hilltopper program. Murray, a Stanley, N.C., native, joins WKU for his final season following a highly successful junior year at Auburn. The versatile forward, who's scored more than 1,200 career points, will be eligible to compete immediately after graduating and transferring from the Tiger program.
