- The Gatton Academy Advances to 2018 Science Bowl for the 4th Consecutive Year: A team from The Gatton Academy has advanced to the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) National Science Bowl® for the fourth consecutive year. The national tournament, scheduled for April 26-30, challenges students’ knowledge in all areas of science, including biology, chemistry, Earth science, physics, energy, and math.
- WKU Public Broadcasting develops training program for ASD students: WKU Public Broadcasting is establishing an innovative training program to serve the growing number of individuals with autism spectrum disorder. In partnership with the Suzanne Vitale Clinical Education Complex, WKU Public Broadcasting is creating a student employment fellowship program to support the training and advancement of WKU students with ASD.

- Attention WKU students: It's time to complete course evaluations: Attention WKU students: Please visit wku.evaluationkit.com to complete your Spring 2018 course evaluations. Students completing all course evaluations by May 3 will receive early access to grades on TopNet.
- Strategic Planning Committee open forum May 2: WKU’s Strategic Planning Committee will host its final open forum from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. May 2 at the Rick and Ann Guillaume Auditorium, Grise Hall 235.
- Online Sales Now Open for Faculty/Staff Parking Permits: WKU faculty and staff can order 2018-2019 parking permits online now. More: 2018-19 commuter permit sales; 2018-19 parking plan; parking map; South Lawn lot reserved today
- WKU Public Radio Weekday Newscast Schedule: Tune into WKU Public Radio for national and international news from NPR, and local newscasts every half hour during Morning Edition (4-9 a.m. Central), and All Things Considered (3-6 p.m. Central), as well as local news features and interviews produced by the WKU news staff. WKU's Public Radio can be heard on WKYU-FM (88.9) in Bowling Green/Glasgow; WDCL-FM (89.7) in Somerset/Campbellsville; WKPB-FM (88.9) in Henderson/Owensboro; WKUE-FM (90.9) in Elizabethtown/Bardstown; and online at http://www.wkyufm.org/

- Men’s basketball: Hilltoppers Add Graduate Transfer Desean Murray to Program: WKU men's basketball head coach Rick Stansbury announced Wednesday the addition of graduate transfer Desean Murray (6-4, Forward) to the Hilltopper program. Murray, a Stanley, N.C., native, joins WKU for his final season following a highly successful junior year at Auburn. The versatile forward, who's scored more than 1,200 career points, will be eligible to compete immediately after graduating and transferring from the Tiger program.
