Lost River Sessions to host Arts & Music Festival May 12

Folk singer Willie Watson will headline Lost River Sessions LIVE at 7 p.m. May 12 at the Capitol Arts Center.
Local artists and makers, food trucks and live music will be featured at the first Lost River Sessions Arts & Music Festival from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 12, at Fountain Square Park in downtown Bowling Green. This free event is open to all ages.
Art on canvas, prints, drawings, handmade jewelry, macramé, organic skin and body care remedies and more will be available for sale. Pop’s Street Eats along with The Cheese Wagon will be on site selling food. The afternoon will feature acoustic musical performances from the Barren River Ramblers, along with Josh Thurman and Dax Evans. There will also be games and activities for children.
The festival in Fountain Square will wrap up at 7 p.m. when May’s edition of Lost River Sessions LIVE begins inside the Capitol Arts Center. The featured headliner this month is folk singer Willie Watson (formerly of Old Crow Medicine Show). He’ll be joined on stage by Louisville’s Joan Shelley and The Dead Broke Barons from Franklin.
Tickets for the show inside the Capitol are $15 per person and can be purchased at theskypac.com in advance. The show will be broadcast live on WKU Public Radio (88.9 FM in Bowling Green).
