There is a new H1N1 vaccine recall.
This new recall involves the LAIV (nasal) vaccine only. It appears that the vaccine has lost some of its potency over time. However, at this time, the FDA states that there is no indication for re-vaccination.

This recall is for the MedImmune brand nasal spray and does include Lot # 500758P - which WKU Health Service did receive and administer in late October. It is believed to have been fully potent in late October and early November.
The previous recall by Sanofi Pasteur for pediatric injectable did not apply to the vaccines administered at WKU Health Services. For more details about this recall please click here.
