Health Services started off the New Year with staff training for all employees. We strive on providing quality healthcare for our patients. The training allowed staff members time to process and analyze current measures and procedures. Supervisors and managers are working cohesively to reduce communication errors between all staff members. During training several policies and procedures were reviewed and staff members were given the opportunity to ask questions, provide feedback and offer ways to improve current policies and procedures.
Training topics included:
- patient scheduling
- patient registration
- phone system
- patient refills
- patient flow
- charge tickets
- colposcopy, implanon, gyn visits
- online patient portal
- insurance and billing
- quality assurance
- consultation coding
- AHP - student health insurance plan
Health Services will continue to have staff in-services trainings throughout the year to review staff skills and competency levels. We strive for excellence!
