Annual Health Education update

The Health Education and Promotion department works closely with campus departments and the community by offerring educational workshops, forums, training programs and resource materials for students. The presenters gave a brief update on the health education department and what programs and events have been done in the past, what they are currently doing, and what they plan to do in the future. Some of the memorable programs include:
Where We've Been
- Offering one (1) awareness program a month (i.e., NCAAW, Great American Smokeout, Sexual Responsibility Week, etc)
- Established relationship with various campus departments
- Created TopperWell in Fall 2001
- Began offering HIV Testing Fall/Spring 2002
- Started first Health Fair Spring 2001/combined student & faculty/staff; renamed Healthy Days for students in 2002
