Dr. Todd Cheever to present Lancaster-Puckett Lecture on Oct. 18

Dr. Todd Cheever will present WKU’s 2018 L.Y. Lancaster-Hugh Puckett Lecture at 6 p.m. Oct. 18 at the Ogden College Hall Auditorium.
In “An Amazing Adventure,” Dr. Cheever will discuss his background, his work as a physician, his international service trips and his role as associate dean of the UK College of Medicine-Bowling Green Campus.
Dr. Cheever graduated from WKU in 1987 with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He earned his M.D. at University of Kentucky in 1991. Dr. Cheever completed a residency in adult psychiatry and joined the faculty in the Psychiatry Department as an associate professor. He has trained students for more than 20 years and served as associate dean of Student Affairs at the medical school. In 2017, he was named associate dean of the UK College of Medicine-Bowling Green Campus.
A reception will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Ogden College Hall first floor lobby. The event is sponsored by Ogden College of Science and Engineering, Health Professions Advising Office and the Lancaster-Puckett Lecture Society.
