WKU, Gatton Academy students honored at 2019 Kentucky Academy of Science meeting

WKU and Gatton Academy students were honored for their research presentations at the Kentucky Academy of Science meeting Nov. 1-2.
Students recognized at the group’s 105th annual meeting, which was held at Berea College, included the following:
Agricultural Sciences
- Oral Presentation: first, Spencer Langford, an Agriculture and Food Science major from Springfield; second, Ian Storrs, a Gatton Academy student from Covington, and Sara Barrens, a Gatton Academy student from Louisville
Chemistry – Organic/Inorganic
- Poster Presentation: first, Fox Bratcher, a Chemistry major from Hartford
Ecology
- Oral Presentation: third, Sarah Bell, a Biology and Geography and Geology major from Herndon
Environmental Science
- Poster Presentation: second, Raquel Dominguez, a Geography and Geology major from Nashville, Tennessee
Geography
- Oral Presentation: first, Dallas McKinney, a Geography and Geology major from Mayfield
