Robin Gadsden-Dupree, T/TAS Family & Community Partnerships Specialist, was one of several Tennessee community members selected as Vaccine Ambassadors by the Tennessee Health Care Campaign. In a set of public service announcements released for the launch of the new Vaccine Ambassador Program, Robin talks about her initial vaccine hesitancy, what motivated her to get vaccinated, and the sense of hope and confidence she received afterwards. “Challenging Conversations: Ethical Approaches to Team-Based Care," presented by Drs. Melissa Travelsted and Kurt Neelly from WKU CHHS were awarded the best poster in the Communication Strategies, Empathy category at the IPEC poster fair.

Vivian Rivera is WKU's latest to earn the National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship. NSF Fellows receive a three-year annual stipend of $37,000 and a $16,000 cost-of-education allowance is awarded to their graduate institution.
