Spring 2024 Parking and Transportation

We hope you had a great winter break!  Here are some reminders for the Spring 2024 Semester. 

Transit:

  • Full Transit Service resumes Tuesday, January 16, 2024, and the Shopping Shuttle will return to Saturday only service beginning Saturday, January 13, 2024.
  • Topper Taxi will not operate on Sunday, January 14, 2024.  The service will instead operate on Monday, January 15, 2024, from 4:30PM – 9PM. 

Parking:

  • Russellville Road West Lot is closed for the Spring 2024 semester.  Alternate parking for C6 permit holders is available in the Overflow Zones (OZ) on Main Campus: 
    • Portion of Creason Lot adjacent to Parking Structure 3
    • Russellville Road Lot
    • Service Supply Lot
    • Back portion of Chestnut Street South Lot
    • Portion of Park Street Lot
  • Housing parking regulations resume on Monday, January 15, 2024,at 4:30 PM.  Please make sure to park in your zone.

Normal parking regulations and full transit services resume on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at 7AM.

Vivian Rivera '24 Awarded NSF Graduate Research Fellowship

Vivian Rivera is WKU's latest to earn the National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship. NSF Fellows receive a three-year annual stipend of $37,000 and a $16,000 cost-of-education allowance is awarded to their graduate institution.
