Congratulations to WKU Folk Studies '18 grads Anne Rappaport and Susanna Pyatt on the publication of their article "Traditional Culture, Collaboration, and Ethnography: Folkloristic Perspectives and Public History" in History News, published by the AASLH (American Association for State and Local History). Anne currently serves as the Library Outreach Specialist at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY, and Susanna is Curator for the Heritage Center of the Sisters of Loretto in Nerinx, KY.

Vivian Rivera is WKU's latest to earn the National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship. NSF Fellows receive a three-year annual stipend of $37,000 and a $16,000 cost-of-education allowance is awarded to their graduate institution.
