Drs. Browder, Brown, and Harkins complete ACUE course

Three of the department's members -- Dr. Thea Browder, Dr. Kate Brown, and Dr. Tony Harkins -- completed the "Effective Teaching Practices" course endorsed by the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE) and the American Council on Education (ACE), and were awarded the Certificate in Effective Instruction at a ceremony on February 4, 2020. Three WKU students were awarded Fund for Education Abroad (FEA) scholarships for study abroad in the Spring 2024 application cycle, tied for the most of any institution in the country and the only institution in Kentucky with FEA recipients.
