Katherine Hale joined the Study Abroad and Global Learning team in 2012. She holds a Master's degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education and a B.A. in Spanish, German, and Religious Studies from WKU. As an undergraduate, she studied abroad in Mexico and Austria, and after graduation, she spent an academic year working as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Argentina. Previous professional experiences include working in residence life at the Gatton Academy of Mathematics and Science and teaching ESL in Argentina and in Warren County Public Schools in Bowling Green.
Katherine's advising regions include Latin America, Spain, the Middle East, northern Africa, and Asia, and she also coordinates incoming exchange students from SAGL's international partner institutions.
