School of Nursing Faculty and Staff

Dr. Jones has been an educator for the past 20 years of her 44-year nursing career. Prior to teaching, her nursing work experiences included emergency room, intensive care, home health administration, geriatric, medical-surgical, and well-baby nursery. Currently, she coordinates and teaches Medical-surgical I course and is an instructor in Senior Practicum and Health Assessment labs. Dr. Jones is a certified nurse educator and has received the Excellence in Education award from her peers in Kappa Theta. Other memberships include Sigma Theta Tau International, Kentucky Nurses Association, American Nurses Association, Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education. Dr. Jones is the current President of the Kentucky League for Nursing.
