Student Equity Council

The purpose of the Student Equity Council is to assist the Chief Diversity Officer in continued development of an inclusive culturally pluralistic campus environment, where diversity is not only tolerated, but also celebrated. Additionally, the group will be the eyes, ears, and voices to assess campus climate, provide the student perspective on the institution’s diversity and equity initiatives, and plan and support educational and informative programs intended to increase students’ awareness, knowledge, and cultural competency skills around the celebration of human differences.

The Student Equity Council is a two-year appointed commitment.
