2025 Presentation Proposals

The WKU Professional Development Day Planning Committee would like to invite you to submit a proposal to present at the 2025 WKU Professional Development Day. Our goal is to create a one-day conference where faculty and staff come together for the common purpose of developing specific skills that are necessary for success in today's higher education environment.

Deadline for Submission: Friday, October 25, 2024 by 11:59 p.m.

Event Date: Thursday, January 16, 2025

Event Location: Downing Student Union

 

Notes

Presentations should fit into the categories of career development, teaching & learning, inclusivity at WKU, skills building, and well-being. Presentations should be interactive and provide tangible takeaways. Sessions are slated for 60 minutes each. In general, as you plan your proposal, please, make sure you allow enough time for dialogue/questions.

Preference will be given to sessions that have a wide appeal to faculty and staff. Accepted presentations will be notified prior to Thanksgiving Break.
