WKU recognizes our students rely on the support of family during their college experience. Share why your family deserves the title of "WKU Family of the Year" during WKU Parent & Family Weekend.
WKU's Family of the Year Will Receive:
-
$800 scholarship for spring 2025 semester for the full-time nominating student receiving Family of the Year award.

Hotel accommodation at Embassy Suites Bowling Green for two nights
-
Four complimentary wKU vs. Toledo football tickets on Saturday, September 21, seated in the Harbaugh Club with President Timothy Caboni
-
Tickets to the Parent and Family Weekend event shirts
-
Recognition at halftime of the football game
-
Complimentary game day parking
Eligibility
-
To be eligible for Family of the Year, the family must have at least one student enrolled full-time at WKU for the Fall 2024 semester.
-
A “family” is defined as parents, guardians, foster families, siblings, spouses, and partners from whom the student receives support.

Nominators must be current WKU undergraduate or graduate students enrolled full-time and in good academic standing.

Nominations must be submitted by the student, not the family members.
Selection
All applications will be reviewed by a committee of past award winners, alumni, and staff. The winning family will be notified by Friday, September 13, 2024.
