WKU Family of the Year
WKU Family of the Year
WKU recognizes that our students rely on the support of family during their college experience, and that support is a valuable contribution to student success and growth. As part of WKU Parent and Family Weekend, students can nominate their family for the WKU Family of the Year.
More details coming soon!
Eligibility
-
To be eligible for Family of the Year, the family must have at least one student enrolled full-time at WKU for the Fall 2024 semester.
-
A “family” is defined as parents, guardians, foster families, siblings, spouses, and partners from whom the student receives support.
-
Nominees do not have to be WKU alumni to be selected for the award.
-
Nominators must be current WKU undergraduate or graduate students enrolled full-time and in good academic standing.
-
Nominations submitted by family members who are not WKU students will not be eligible to win.
Selection
All applications will be reviewed by a committee of past award winners, alumni, and staff.
